Static and Dynamic Pages:
Inside the web we can find or build two different kinds of pages:

The ones that have no functionalities and no animations further than the links
-
The ones that display special effects and allow interaction.
 
The first pages are what we call Static Pages, they are designed with HTML language that does not allow to create effects and complexes designs more than the normal links.
 
These pages are simple to design, they do not offer a wide range of possibilities for designers or visitors because they only display plain text and images. At the most, they run some multimedia contents like videos or sound.
 
The second type, the Dynamic Pages. A page becomes dynamic when it has a special effect or function. To build a dynamic page we need to use other computer languages different than HTML.
 
While the Static Pages are easy for the user to imagine and do not require elaborated codes, Dynamic pages are more complex and versatile.
 
Intranet Applications:
 An Intranet Application is an in-house Web site on the company's local area network (LAN) that serves employees only, and almost every medium to large company has an intranet. Although intranet pages may have links to Web sites on the Internet, the intranet is not exposed to, or is accessed by, the general public. It provides a standard way to publish company policy, news, schedules, medical and insurance forms and training manuals. The intranet is also a venue for publishing blogs, wikis and social activities such as sports and exercise schedules. Since the Web browser is the primary interface, intranets offer cross-platform support between Windows, Mac and Linux desktops.
 
Graphic design:
Graphic design is a creative process that combines art and technology to communicate ideas. The designer works with a variety of communication tools in order to convey a message from a client to a particular audience. At HC Web Solutions we normally work with Photoshop. Photoshop is a standard name in graphic design for web use, print layout, and more.
